KATSU STONE's profile

Poufs stones at Drama Theatre

This project is special for many reasons!

We created the most exceptional decoration with KATSU stones, developed a new technology, and made our stones hover. To create the decorations for the play "Masquerade" by Michail Lermontov was quite a challenging task - it had to be lightweight, mobile, and dynamic. We designed special fasteners for suspension.
Stones change their positions along with the play. In the final scene, they are released to fall - creating the phenomenal stone rain (as the` director Vladimir Petrov planned). Also, actors use stones in action - throw them and jump on them. 34 stones in total.
An increasing number of the fascinated audience every time the play is acting. The play
is in the repertoire of the Theatre, and you will be able to watch it in the current the atrical season.
